環境測定用カクテル
Ultima Gold LLTは高引火点のシンチレーションカクテルで、水を測定対象をした低いレベルのトリチウム計測に適しています。Ultima Gold LLTは、最高54 %までの水や海水を保持し、非常に低いバックグラウンドレベルを維持しながら約30 % のトリチウム計数効率を示します。Tri-Carb液体シンチレーションカウンターを用いて測定を行うと、バックグラウンドの低減が図れ、検出限界は1.1 Bq/liter（500分間計数）にもなります。

UltimaGold LLT は以下のような相対的な品質管理法を採用しており、低バックグラウンドの液体シンチレーション計測に適したシンチレーションカクテルです。 Pico-Fluor LLT よりも引火点の高い溶媒である DIN を採用しています。このため、高密度ポリエチレンバイアルでの計測も可能です。
Quality Control method for Background Sample Preparation
Dispense 10 mL Ultima Gold LLT sample into a 20 mL plastic vial. Prepare three separate samples.
To each sample add 10mL "dead water" and shake to form a clear mixture.
Place the vials in the LSC counter at 14 to 16 Celsius and leave for 3 hours to temperature and light adapt.

Specification
Ultima Gold LLT sample background in all three counting windows must be less than that shown by the standard Insta-Gel Plus prepared and counted under the same conditions.
